Paul W Fleming has been re-elected to serve a second term as general secretary of the Equity performing arts and entertainment trade union.
Fleming comprehensively outflanked challenger Riky Ash, winning 81% of the vote to Ash’s 19% on a turnout of 12.4%. First elected as general secretary in 2020, Fleming has been an official for the West End and across the union’s major theatre agreements.
