3. Best measures to green the workplace

The LRD survey asked respondents to put forward the best environmental measure that had been introduced into their workplace. A wide variety of measures were listed by respondents ranging from the introduction of wind turbines to making people bring in their own mugs for tea. However, by far and away the most frequently cited best measures involved the introduction of recycling initiatives, waste reduction and finding ways to prevent the unnecessary use of office lights.
