Bringing a discrimination claim
[ch 6: page 196]Alleging that an employer is guilty of discrimination is a serious step that always needs very careful consideration. It is vital to remain clear, consistent and accurate throughout the process as to the acts complained of, including any words used. This will increase the likelihood of being believed.
Although this Chapter largely concerns individual equality rights, in practice a collective grievance by a group of members is often a better approach to resolving equality issues.
