UNISON conference
Public services union UNISON is planning to hold an online special delegate conference in June, when it would normally hold its national delegate conference.
The aim is “to give members and activists a platform to discuss the issues the union faces and use the union’s democratic processes to shape how the union will work in the future.”
It will be motions-based, and UNISON is asking branches to submit motions in three areas: the union’s review of branch resources; the impact of COVID-19 on UNISON members, public services and working life; and securing an equal and sustainable post-pandemic settlement.
