How to report COVID safety concerns

The TUC says the HSE needs to hear from union reps about COVID safety concerns, including lack of social distancing or lack of access to required personal protective equipment (PPE). It has created a web form to make reporting a COVID safety issue to the HSE easier. This is at: https://tuccampaigns.typeform.com/to/Ypm6Pq. The HSE now has a dedicated email inbox for trade union reps to report any concerns around coronavirus at work.

Local authority environmental health officers are responsible for enforcing health and safety law in the following workplaces: offices (except government offices); shops; hotels; restaurants; leisure premises; nurseries and playgroups; pubs and clubs; privately-owned museums; places of worship; and sheltered accommodation and care homes. Reps in these workplaces should contact their local council environmental health department.
