Employment tribunals - a practical guide for trade unionists

Chapter 7

Chronology and relevant people

Other documents that can be well worth producing, but are not essential, are a chronology and a list of the main “actors” (i.e. people relevant to the claim) with a brief description of the posts they hold and/or the meetings or incidents at which they were present. This will not only assist the tribunal, but is an opportunity to make sure that apparently neutral and basic information fairly reflects your case. Where possible, consider trying to agree the contents of these documents with the other side.
