Many of the cases mentioned in this booklet concern the process of setting up ICE agreements itself but some focused more on workplace conditions. These included terms and conditions at Ocado Limited (2009, see page 63); plant closure at Gardner Denver Limited (2009, see page 57); working time arrangements at Wincanton Container Logistics (2011); proposed job losses at Electronic Data Systems (2008, see page 56); and changes to the global travel policy at Rolls-Royce plc in 2013 (see below).

In these examples, employees and their unions did not necessarily get what they wanted. But in each case there was at least an opportunity to obtain a detailed examination of consultation practices, and the possibility that the employer may be more willing to consult in future.
