How much can you get?

The amount you will be entitled to will depend on your age, income and savings. The maximum weekly amounts are:

£57.90 for those aged 24 and under;

£73.10 for those aged 25 and over; and

£114.85 for couples who are both aged over 18.

Payments are usually made every two weeks into a bank, building society or credit union account.

You can ask for any decision about your JSA to be reviewed at any time, and you can appeal the decision about your JSA if you are unhappy with it (see Chapter 9).
