Cross-border working
The European Labour Authority, an EU body charged with helping national labour inspectors with the enforcement of legislation linked to cross-border working, began its operations this month.
The authority will have a particular role in relation to posted workers — those working in one EU member state, but with an employment contract in another — but will also cover other cross-border issues.
