Repeal of Equality Act provisions on third party harassment

The Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013 repeals the provisions of the Equality Act 2010 dealing with third party harassment of employees during the course of their employment. The repeal will take effect on 1 October 2013. The TUC says the repeal will make working life even harder for the thousands of care home staff, teachers and health workers who suffer prejudice and abuse from those they are trying to help.
