An LRD guide for union reps, Monitoring and surveillance at work (2015) looks at some of the devices now in use in UK workplaces, such as vehicle cameras, body cameras, CCTV, vehicle trackers, clocking in systems and biometrics (fingerprint, hand and face recognition software), and at the efforts by unions to prevent these devices being used for intrusive workforce micro-management, especially discipline and performance targets.
