Additional Statutory Paternity Pay
[ch 8: page 234]An employee taking APL is entitled to Additional Statutory Paternity Pay (ASPP) where:
• the mother has not used up her entitlement to 39 weeks’ SMP or MA;
• she has at least two weeks’ entitlement left;
• the employee has average weekly earnings at or above the Lower Earnings Limit (£111 — 2014 -15) over an eight-week period, ending with the due date.
