Changes to Pension Credit
[ch 5: page 75]As part of the Pensions Act 2014, the Savings Credit part of Pension Credit will close for people reaching State Pension Age on or after 6 April 2016. This will include those with a partner who reached State Pension Age before 6 April 2016. However, some protection will be given to couples who were already getting Savings Credit on 6 April 2016.
