Who is protected
[ch 2: page 10]All employees and workers are protected by whistleblowing law. The term “worker” has a special expanded meaning (section 43K, ERA 96), explained in Chapter 3.
Many people at work are not protected by PIDA despite this expanded meaning. There is more detailed information about who is and is not protected in Chapter 3.
