[ch 10: page 341]Since January 2016, it is automatically unfair under the Exclusivity Terms in Zero Hours Contracts (Redress) Regulations 2015 to dismissal an employee for breaching a contract term banning work for another employer. TUC research has shown that only a very small minority of zero hours contract workers (maximum one in ten) are affected by this kind of term.
