There are two main types of discrimination under the EA 10. These are known as direct and indirect discrimination. The Act also prohibits harassment and victimisation. There is additional protection for disabled workers, including the employer’s duty to make reasonable adjustments and protection from discrimination “arising from” disability (see page 241-247).
