Government consultation on the employment agencies regulations

In July 2013, the government published its response to a consultation on a proposed review of the regulations, which it describes as “complex and out-of-date”. However, the main change is to be limited to enforcement, taking resources from the Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate and allocating them instead to the HMRC National Minimum Wage enforcement team, to focus on workers who are not being paid the National Minimum Wage.
