[ch 7: page 231]The EA 10 covers all those working in Great Britain. Northern Ireland is covered by separate legislation.
As regards workers outside Great Britain, the test is whether a claimant has a sufficiently strong connection with Great Britain (Hottak v Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs & Anor [2016] EWCA Civ 438). This is the same as the test used for claims of unfair dismissal (See Chapter 10: Dismissal).
