Workplace size and stress
[ch 1: page 7]LFS statistics show that small workplaces with fewer than 50 employees have the lowest levels of stress, while large workplaces with 250 plus employees have the highest.
However, the TUC 2012 survey of safety reps found that stress was the most common concern in workplaces of all sizes, and the issue has become more widespread in each size category. The biggest change was in workplaces with less than 50 workers where the proportion of safety reps reporting stress as a top five concern rose from 52% in 2010 to 69% in 2012.
