High street bakery chain Greggs has been working with foodworkers’ union BFAWU to run training sessions for its national health and safety reps. This includes looking at carbon footprints and energy use — including where energy is used, where the company gets it from and using the energy monitoring tool on the companies intranet. As well as waste management and reduction, it includes reuse and recycling, and a “mop up” module including water use.
