Acas guidance makes clear that procedures for dealing with complaints of bullying and harassment should have provision for confidentiality.

College and lecturers’ union UCU guidance states that the policy should also have a clear statement on the confidentiality of each case with specific reference to the:

• nature of the bullying/harassment;

• parties involved; and

• documents held.
