WHSmith boycott
The CWU communication workers' union organised a national day of protest last month against Post Office closures and the franchising of services to WHSmith. Post Office staff are not being transferred, meaning the loss of 124 jobs. Industrial action is now being planned in Greater Manchester and south-west Wales.
