French agree on work-related stress
In November, France’s five main union confederations — the CGT, CFDT, CFTC, FO and CFE-CGC — signed an accord on work-related stress. The agreement carries into French law a European framework agreement that the ETUC and three European employers’ associations signed in 2004.
It says that “if a problem of work-related stress is identified, action must be taken to prevent, eliminate or reduce it”.
