Pension compensation

The Employment Appeal Tribunal has ruled that in calculating what an employee should receive as compensation for loss of a future pension, the tribunals should not merely calculate the amount of contributions that employers would have paid into the pension scheme. This cannot begin to replace the loss of pension and lump sum that an employee suffers as a result of an unfair dismissal.
