Trades councils

Sustainable development and green workplaces and fighting the cuts are two of the key areas that trades councils will be concentrating on in terms of their work over the next year. The other two topics are “community campaigning and fighting the far right” and TUC Unemployed Workers Centres.

The Working for a future that works report is based on the decisions of the 2012 trade union councils’ annual conference. It also highlights the work they do to support union members in their areas and to defend local communities.
