Political fund

Members of public services union UNISON have voted overwhelmingly in favour of retaining their union’s political fund. The ballot resulted in 87% saying they wanted to keep the fund.

“This is in spite of the government’s cynical ‘gagging Act’ that aims to reduce the lobbying power of trade unions,” said general secretary Dave Prentis.
