Nominations for the CWU communications union’s general secretary election are open until 10 March.
Incumbent Billy Hayes, first elected in 2001, is seeking re-election for a fourth term. He is facing a likely challenge from Dave Ward — currently deputy general secretary on the union’s postal side — who is seeking nomination.
The ballot opens on 24 March and closes on 14 April.
