Discrimination claims live on

Discrimination claims do not die with the death of the claimant, according to the Court of Appeal which has reversed an earlier ruling of the Employment Appeal Tribunal. In a case brought against Lewisham and Guy's Mental Health NHS Trust the relatives of Niobe Harris have won the right to continue to pursue her claim of unlawful discrimination on race grounds. The ruling also applied in the case of sex and disability discrimination claims.
