Spanish strike against the war

One of Spain's two main union confederations, the UGT, organised a two-hour stoppage against the war in Iraq on 10 April. The union stated that 70% of workers had supported the stoppage but the government said it was only 4.4%.

The other main confederation, the CCOO, called for a symbolic 15-minute stoppage at noon.
