Statutory exceptions limiting service provision change
[ch 2: page 20]TUPE will not apply to the transfer of services:
• where the activities consist wholly or mainly of the supply of goods (Regulation 3(3)(b) of TUPE); or
• where the new service provider is only intended to carry out the activities in connection with a single specific event or task of short-term duration (Regulation 3(3)(a)(ii) of TUPE).
