New HSE database

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has launched a new web site giving access to more than 1,400 of its publications including legislation, approved codes of practice and guidance, all of which can be ordered online by account or credit card.

The HSE has also announced that it is developing a legislative database linking health and safety legislation with the relevant guidance, which is expected to come online by the end of the year. It will be aimed particularly at small and medium-sized enterprises, and is being produced in partnership with Butterworths Tolley. It will be accessible by subscription for varying periods of time, including 'day tickets'.
