Contracts - the key developments

• Claims for unpaid holidays under the Working Time Regulations 1998 can be made under regulation 30 of those Regulations, and/or under Part II of the Employment Rights Act 1996 (case 1).

• Women have no statutory entitlement to their contractual sick pay while on maternity leave unless their contract of employment specifically gives them that right (case 2).
